About the Alumni Association
Founded in 1972, our school has shaped generations of learners in Ceres and the wider Witzenberg community. The FGCSS Alumni Association exists to keep that shared history alive and to build a strong, active network of past learners who still care deeply about where it all began.

Our Roots, Our Legacy
Fred Gaum Secondary School opened its doors in 1972, becoming a cornerstone of education in Ceres. Over the years, the school evolved into Ceres Senior Secondary School, but its values, spirit, and sense of community remain unchanged.
Every learner who passed through these gates carries a piece of that legacy and together, we continue to write the next chapter.
